--Finnish utility Fortum has expressed interest in buying the Swedish assets of its former subsidiary Uniper, the Financial Times reports, citing unnamed sources.
--Fortum said it wouldn't comment on what ius called "rumors," but said it has right of first offer on the Swedish assets, according to FT.
--Vattenfall is also a possible bidder for the Swedish part of the business, one of the people said, while Equinor could be a candidate to buy all or part of Uniper, and Daniel Kretinsky could also make a bid, according to FT.
--Vattenfall, Equinor, Uniper, a spokesperson for Kretinsky and the German finance ministry all declined to comment, FT says.
