KSH Integrated Logistics Private Limited announced the launch of its first warehouse facility in Eastern India, consisting of a 60,000 square feet multi client facility located in Kolkata. The development establishes integrated logistics capabilities within regional supply chain corridors to serve businesses expanding across Eastern and North Eastern India. The facility provides flexible warehousing options without requiring heavy capital investments in fixed assets from corporate clients who seek to expand operations smoothly. As consumption patterns shift and regional trade volumes grow, Eastern India has emerged as a logistics node. The Kolkata facility has been designed to meet this demand by combining modern infrastructure with the agility that businesses need to operate.

Value added services

The commercial site provides a suite of value added services including product pre packing, kitting, retail stickering, and customised supply chain solutions. The company supports last mile distribution operations using electric vehicles to maintain sustainable logistics operations. The building contains fire safety infrastructure equipped with fire hydrants and automated sprinkler systems. Operational management relies on an advanced warehouse management system and transportation management software to enable real time inventory visibility and streamlined product fulfilment. The plant node serves specific industry segments including fast moving consumer goods, fast moving consumer durables, and financial technology companies across the entire regional commercial business sector.

Regional economic impact

The facility is expected to generate over 100 direct and indirect employment opportunities within the local economy while expanding logistics infrastructure standards across the region. This development adds an important piece to the national network of the firm that reaches from the west coast to the eastern frontier. The enterprise remains focused on building facilities that keep pace with economic growth and trade expansion. The management plans more infrastructure pipelines in the upcoming financial years across the entire national territory area.

Vinay Patil, Chief Executive Officer of KSH Integrated Logistics Private Limited, said that Kolkata was a gateway to a region that was evolving. He said that businesses needed logistics partners who combined scale with flexibility and that the facility was built to deliver those operational capacities. He stated that the expansion was an important step in their corporate vision of building a connected logistics network across the country of India to improve connectivity and supply chain management for all industrial clients.
