Digital gold is not regulated by SEBI or RBI, so investors must deal directly with the app if something goes wrong. Experts say digital gold can also have 3%-6% price differences when buying and selling, plus 3% GST and possible making charges. Gold ETFs generally have clearer and lower costs, with annual fees of around 0.3%-0.8%.
