A few years ago, the businessman’s name was largely unknown beyond his immediate circle.

From Small Trade to Solid Ground

In a post on Facebook, Peterson laid out his journey year by year through a series of captioned images, each marking a milestone in what he described as a God-led process.

His simple opening words, “God has been good in my journey,” preceded a visual story that resonated with thousands.

He disclosed that he began his enterprise in 2012, describing it at the time as a modest, small-scale operation.

By 2013, he was still grinding, and it was not until 2014 that he noticed genuine momentum building in the business.

That growth, he indicated, was enough to change the trajectory of his life entirely.

In 2015, he completed construction of his first house, a milestone that many Africans regard as a definitive marker of success and stability.

A year later, in 2016, he added a car to his name, rounding off what amounted to a four-year climb from a street-level hustle to tangible assets.

He clarified that his breakthrough came when he got a chance to relocate to Japan, where he worked for Japan.

Story That Struck a Chord

The post drew close to 20,000 reactions and more than 1,200 comments, suggesting that Peterson’s story touched something real in his audience.

For many followers, the structured, year-by-year format made the journey feel achievable rather than mythical.

There were no overnight windfalls documented, no unexplained leaps in fortune, only consistent growth charted across successive years.

Peterson’s willingness to share the unglamorous starting point, a small business with no grand promises attached, appeared to be a key part of why the post resonated as broadly as it did.
