ECP buffs up global equities investment team

Senior leadership appointment

ECP Asset Management has taken to expanding its global equities team with the appointment of Romith Manju to the newly created role of Investment Analyst.

Manju will be responsible for identifying quality growth opportunities suitable for the ECP Global Growth Fund, performing extensive research and screening.

ECP Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, Dr Manny Pohl AM, said the appointment signals the firm’s intentions to strengthen its global equities capabilities and grow the fund’s reach.

“Romith has over 7 years’ experience in financial services, with a particular focus on researching of global equities,” he said.

“He has a proven track record of finding great investment ideas and will play a crucial role in supporting the global equities team by diligently researching and identifying quality global companies for the fund to invest in.

“This appointment is another stepping stone for ECP as we look to continue to expand and grow our business and continually focus on offering quality long-term strategies to our clients.”

Manju joins ECP from Pemba Capital Portfolio Company (Stannards) most recently and Constellation Software prior to that, bringing experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and the professional services, technology and software investments space.
