Dell Technologies, the enterprise-computing and AI-server company (NYSE:DELL), raised its fiscal-2027 AI-server revenue forecast from $60 billion to $74 billion, with shares up approximately 4.4% to $565.50 around 12:14 p.m. ET Friday. That is a $14 billion upgrade. AI servers now account for roughly 38.5% of Dell’s $192 billion annual revenue outlook. This business is carrying serious weight.
The bigger test sits inside the order book. Dell reported a $95 billion AI-server backlog at the end of July, after taking in $60.9 billion of orders and generating $16.4 billion in quarterly AI-server revenue. Demand looks enormous. Turning those commitments into delivered systems, profits and cash is the next hurdle. Component availability, deployment schedules and customer readiness all matter.
The valuation picture shows Dell trading 141.43% above its $234.23 GF Value estimate, leaving little room for execution slips. That estimate is a valuation reference, not a ceiling. Still, investors are paying for a hefty dose of future growth. Dell needs to ship the backlog while protecting margins and keeping working capital under control. Big orders make the growth story compelling. Profitable deliveries make it stick.
