WWE has filed a number of new trademarks, including one that confirms the name of a new group.
On the August 5th episode of Raw, Chad Gable confirmed that his alliance with The Alpha Academy was officially over as he had found new allies in The Creed Brothers. As the group made their way to the ring to take on the Wyatt Sicks, Gable stated that the group would be known as American Made.
On August 7th, the USPTO received a trademark filing from the promotion for “American Made” along with NXT roster members “Robert Stone” and “Desmond Troy”. Details on the trademark filing are as follows:
Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal;
providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Approaching one year since the company was officially purchased by Endeavor, August 8th saw the Q2 financials published for both WWE and UFC. Covering the period between April and June, new records were once again set by both companies.
