PTx FarmENGAGE allows farmers and contractors to manage Massey Ferguson and other-brand machines through a single connected system, bringing machine data, field operations and task management together.
The platform will be fitted to the new Massey Ferguson 7S MARK 2, while some existing machines will have the option of a retrofit.
PTx FarmENGAGE connects directly to Massey Ferguson terminals as well as other-brand machines fitted with PTx Trimble GFX displays. It can also share data with John Deere Operations Center, allowing new Massey Ferguson tractors to work within existing farm data systems.
Compatibility with other farm management software is available through an API, supporting use across mixed-brand fleets.
The system allows users to view machines and work locations in real time from anywhere with an internet connection, while monitoring task progress and recording field operations.
Tasks can be created in advance from the farm office, including details of machines, implements, fields, gateways, boundaries, working strategies and variable-rate applications.
Information can then be automatically shared between users and compatible tractor terminals, while data collected in the field is centralised for record-keeping, compliance, performance analysis and future planning.
The platform also allows multiple data sources, including soil and yield maps, to be imported for applications such as variable-rate seeding and fertiliser.
Automatic data transfer between the farm office and machinery removes the need to return machines to the yard to transfer information manually.
Plans can also be updated while work is underway, allowing farmers and contractors to respond to changing weather or field conditions.
