CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — The Crockett County Pound in Alamo is a place for hope.
The pound gathers lost dogs and returns them to their owners.
They also keep strays who aren’t claimed in order to find them a home.
There is a community volunteer day on Saturday from eight to four, to put up new fences and clean up the yard.
New dog houses are being put in this week as well, with volunteers welcome Monday through Friday from eight to four.
Anyone looking to give, can donate to the Bells Animal Clinic under Crockett County Pound Partners.
Every donation goes to the pound dogs and towards the community, helping owners in hard times keep their pets safe and sound.
