Insider report: Murray Edwards cashes out $28-million from this Canadian Natural Resources stock

Listed below are four stocks that have had recent selling activity in the public market reported by insiders.

Alamos Gold Inc. (AGI-T)

On Aug. 24, Luis Chavez, senior vice president of Mexico, sold 9,700 shares at a price per share of US$38.09, after which this particular account held 87,934 shares. Proceeds from the sale exceeded US$369,000, excluding trading fees.

Barrick Mining Corp. (ABX-T)

On Aug. 24, chief human resources officer Darian Rich sold 75,452 shares at a price per share of US$48.2036, reducing the holdings in this particular account to 235,252 shares. Proceeds from the sale totaled more than US$3.6-million, not including commission charges.

Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. (CNQ-T)

On Aug. 20, executive chairman Murray Edwards sold 400,000 shares at a price per share of $70.2933, trimming his holdings in this particular account to 42,536,076 shares. Proceeds from the sale exceeded $28 million, excluding trading fees.

CCL Industries Inc. (CCL.B-T)

On Aug. 24, Günther Birkner, president of food & beverage, healthcare & specialty and Innovia, sold 5,000 shares at a price per share of $95, leaving 77,186 shares in this particular account. Proceeds from the sale totaled $475,000, not including commission charges.

Previously, we reported Lalitha Vaidyanathan, senior vice president of finance, IT and human resources, sold 14,940 shares at a price per share of $95.0882 on Aug. 17, after which this particular account held 85,566 shares. Proceeds from the sale exceeded $1.4-million, excluding trading fees.
