FriendFinder Networks Inc. is entitled to $566,240 in attorneys’ fees and litigation costs under the terms of the same debt securities contract that barred an investment firm from suing it in the first place, a federal court ruled.
“Unhappiness with one’s bargain does not, by itself, justify the filing of litigation,” Judge Denise Cote said Wednesday for the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
