S&P 500 market update: Health care stocks lead gains as semiconductor shares slide on AI trade concerns

Losses among industrials and information technology stocks paced the S&P 500 modestly lower to end New York’s trading week, even as healthcare led six of the benchmark’s 11 industry sectors higher.

The S&P 500 slipped 0.05 per cent to 7354.0. The Dow Industrials also slipped 0.09 per cent. The Nasdaq Composite edged down 0.2 per cent.
