KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has announced that Nepali citizens will be allowed to receive ‘sweat shares’ in foreign companies in the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/25. Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel revealed this plan during the budget speech.

“Nepali citizens who provide technology, specialized knowledge, or services to foreign companies will be allowed to take sweat shares,” said Finance Minister Paudel.
