EQT Head: Envirotainer Well-Suited for IPO

Share

Per Franzén, CEO of private equity firm EQT, told Dagens Industri that cold-chain logistics provider Envirotainer possesses the scale and revenue quality to make it a prime candidate for a public listing.

He noted that while EQT holds several portfolio companies suitable for the Stockholm Stock Exchange, IPOs are unlikely to materialize in the near term.

Franzén called for an increase in European listings, arguing that the region requires better conditions to foster global leaders.

He also emphasized that European investors must become more active, pointing out that EQT was the sole European institutional investor in Lovable’s latest funding round.
