TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Rumors has that in Twin Falls that counterfeit money has been circulating around the city. KMVT reached out to the Twin Falls police department to find answers, and so far, the rumor is true, and an arrest has been made.
According to the Twin Falls Police Department and Lieutenant Craig Stotts, 39-year-old Robert Franklin Lambert from Filer, was arrested on April 6 after passing a fake 100-dollar bill at a local Walmart.
According to legal documents, an initial report was made on Lambert last month. On March 29, 2024, was when Lambert was first seen at the local Walmart passing a fake bill. April 6 was the second time he returned.
Both occasions were caught on video. According to lieutenant Craig Stotts, this is the only person arrested at this time.
