Manheim launches liquidation program for Liberty Bell Bay machinery and equipment

Manheim Australia and Insight Valuations, under the instructions of Morgan Kelly, Sam Freeman and Robyn Duggan of EY Parthenon, Joint and Several Liquidators of Liberty Bell Bay Pty Ltd (Receivers and Managers Appointed) (In Liquidation), have commenced a multi-stage asset liquidation program for machinery and equipment formerly utilised by Liberty Bell Bay in Tasmania. 

The program comprises a series of timed online auctions and targeted expressions of interest (EOI) processes designed to maximise participation from both domestic and international purchasers. The program includes at least five online auctions throughout September 2026, together with four dedicated EOI and tender processes for specialised and high-value industrial assets.

To support the program, Manheim has established a dedicated portal providing access to auction catalogues, EOI opportunities, forthcoming sales and enquiry channels for participants. 

“We are pleased to be bringing a significant range of industrial and mobile plant assets to market as part of this program,” said Manheim Australia Senior Valuer, Scott Matthews.

“The portfolio includes a wide variety of equipment, ranging from Caterpillar loaders, trucks and mobile plant through to highly specialised industrial assets, including Kress slag pot carriers, workshop machinery, laboratory equipment, steel fabrication equipment and power generation assets. We expect strong interest from both Australian and international buyers.”
