Nvidia falls over 5%, tech leads Nasdaq, S&P 500 lower as losses accelerate
Tech stocks led the major averages lower on Thursday as Nvidia (NVDA) shares sold off following the AI chipmaker’s earnings report and investors took stock of the economy amid President Trump’s latest tariff pledges. The S&P 500 (^GSPC) fell more than 1%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (^IXIC) saw losses accelerate to more than 2%.
