SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A large metal rooster was stolen from a Spartanburg County farmers market last week.
According to one of the Hobo Hollar owners, Michelle Lytle, the store manager noticed the multi-colored 6-foot tall rooster was missing on Friday from its spot along Cherry Hill Road.
Lytle said whoever took the rooster went through a lot of effort to get it because it was anchored down and tied to the pole under the Hobo Hollar sign.
“It would be hard to hide,” Lytle said considering the size.
Unfortunately, she said no cameras were pointing in that direction.
Anyone with information on the location of the metal rooster is asked to reach out to Hobo Hollar at (864) 529-0333.
