Seven new homes are to be built on vacant land off a busy road in Stoke-on-Trent, after plans were approved by the city council.

Mr Rasheed Mohammed applied for permission back in April to build seven detached houses with new access, car parking and external works on the corner of Westport Road and Federation Road, in Burslem.

The 1,970 square metre site is currently vacant but has good links to both Burslem and Tunstall town centres.

Each of the homes will be three-bedroom and 14 parking spaces are proposed (Innovative Design Solutions).

Each of the homes will be three-bedroom and a total of 14 car parking spaces were proposed as part of the plans.

No further detail about the homes was provided but the council approved the planning application last week; an officers report has not yet been published.
