Man charged with manslaughter after 57-year-old found dead at a Chorley property in summer 2024

A man has been charged with manslaughter after a man died in Chorley in June 2024.




Police were called to reports of a sudden death at Hollinshead Street in Chorley at around 4pm on 24 June, 2024.

Paul Ainscough, 57, was found dead at a property and police launched an investigation, including speaking with people who were at the Stag Pub on Worden Lane in Leyland in relation to an incident that took place between 4.30pm and 7.30pm the Saturday before (22 June, 2024).

Liam Slack, 34, of Langton Brow, Eccleston, has now been charged with manslaughter.
