Treace Sues Zimmer and Paragon 28 Over Patents

Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. and Paragon 28, Inc.

Based in Florida, Treace is a medical technology company focused on the surgical management of bunions and related midfoot deformities. This includes its Lapiplasty^® 3D Bunion Correction System^®. According to the company, this system is a “combination of instruments, implants, and surgical methods designed to surgically correct all three planes of a bunion deformity and secure the unstable joint, addressing the bunion’s root cause.”
