“While there’s been uncertainty regarding Microsoft’s support for Great Plains, it’s clear they are committed to supporting GP until 2031. For this reason, we are fully committed to our loyal SalesPad customers by adding advanced tools that refine operations and elevate business performance,” said Mike Biwer, CEO of Cavallo. “Our new Inventory Manager capabilities align with our Order Intelligence vision by uncovering new opportunities to streamline operations and, ultimately, boost profits.”

New SalesPad capabilities are now available, including Picking Assignments, Automated Picking Assignments, Directed Picking, and Batch Picking. These new capabilities focus on streamlining order fulfillment processes to deliver measurable improvements.

New SalesPad Features

Picking Assignments: Warehouse managers can assign orders to individual pickers or groups in advance. Pickers are restricted to their assignments and can optionally reserve unassigned orders in the mobile app, providing more order control and operational agility.

Automated Picking Assignments: Rules can be easily configured based on specific criteria to automatically delegate orders in the fulfillment phase, removing time-consuming picker capacity comparisons.

Directed Picking: Guided instructions optimize order fulfillment sequencing, prioritizing orders and items to pick first and streamlining the bin pick path. This eliminates wasteful guesswork while supporting better inventory control.

Batch Picking: Multiple orders can now be consolidated into a single picking flow, allowing teams to gather items for several orders simultaneously to boost route efficiency.

With Inventory Manager, order fulfillment is greatly optimized to reduce errors, minimize labor costs, and streamline workflows to meet rising demands and speed up delivery times. Highly scalable, it’s perfect for operations of all sizes. It also provides new levels of performance tracking, with actionable insights to refine processes and enhance operational excellence.
