A zonal-level two-day agriculture exhibition and seminar will be held at Chikkaiah Government Arts and Science College here next month.
Organised by the Department of Horticulture and Plantation Crops, the exhibition aims to create awareness about modern agricultural technologies, new crop varieties, agricultural machinery, and value addition techniques. The event will feature 70 stalls from government departments and 130 stalls from private organisations and farmers from ten districts are expected to participate.
The exhibition will showcase modern crop varieties, traditional seeds, seedlings, processed agricultural products, bio-fertilisers, crop protection chemicals, advanced agricultural machinery, and micro-irrigation equipment.
