Summer is turning into fall field show season, and dozens of new machinery innovations for farmers have been announced. Despite low equipment sales for nearly all segments of the market in July, manufacturers continue to introduce new products. In case you missed the flurry of news, here’s a closer look at the latest planting, harvesting, and other equipment for farmers.
Harvesting
Gleaner
AGCO Corporation introduced the Gleaner T Series combine which will be available as a Class 6, 7, or 8 machine.
When announcing the new combine, the company touted the new Dura Drive system. The two-speed, shift-on-the-fly transmission provides a wider speed range — up to 25 mph — with fewer gears.
Besides increased productivity, the technology improvements included with the Deluxe cab option provide greater visibility.

ATV/UTV
John Deere
In July, John Deere introduced its latest offerings in the UTV space. The gas Gator XUV 845 and diesel Gator XUV 875 utility vehicles were designed for a variety of farm tasks and feature larger, customizable cargo boxes. Comfort and convenience elements were also added to the new vehicles.

Tillage
Case IH
Case IH announced new precision tech offerings on their tillage equipment for model year 2025.
Soil Command will be factory-fitted on select sizes of Case IH Speed-Tiller 475 and VT-Flex 435 tillage equipment and work on any ISO-compatible tractor equipped to handle hydraulic needs.
Additionally, with the launch of Case IH Active Implement Guidance, farmers now have access to a plug-and-play system to correct implement drift while navigating planting, tillage, and side-dressing.

John Deere
In mid-August, John Deere has announced its first coulter chisel (CC) tillage implement, as well as new updates to its Minimum Tillage Series In-Line ripper tillage offerings.
“The new CC Series has been developed to give farmers the ability to tackle primary tillage needs faster than before,” says Michael Porter, go-to-market manager for tillage equipment for John Deere. “With working speeds of 7 mph, this is a highly productive primary tillage tool.”

Ag tech
Case IH
In August, Case IH launched several technology initiatives to further its mission of delivering actionable data and solutions to make farming easier.
The new FieldOps mobile and web application redefines the way farmers connect, view, and manage their operations while expanded API integrations allow farmers to connect with third-party providers and manage mixed fleets. Additionally, Connectivity Included eliminates subscriptions on new qualifying equipment while Precision Technology Packages simplify the technology purchase experience.
Case IH also announced the expansion of its API partnerships, which totals more than 40 providers.

Other
Develon
In July, Develon, a construction machinery company, introduced its first compact track loader to dealers in North America. The DTL35 features a 115.3-hp D34 engine and is available for order now through a dealer.
