Temple land cannot be sold or transferred, says min Jogaram Patel

Jaipur: Parliamentary Affairs minister Jogaram Patel told the state assembly Wednesday the Supreme Court classified temple land as perpetual property, meaning it cannot be sold or transferred under any circumstances. He said such land remains under the complete protection of the judiciary. Assuring the house during Zero Hour, Patel stated, “The govt will seriously examine issues related to land encroachment by land mafias on temple properties. Strict action will be taken while keeping in mind the interests of temple priests.”
Grazing land will be converted to residential land only as per Supreme Court directives: Revenue Min
Jaipur: State Revenue minister Hemant Meena said Wednesday any conversion of grazing land near village boundaries into residential land will be carried out only in accordance with Supreme Court directives. Responding to a call-attention motion raised by MLA Nimbahera Shrichand Kriplani during Zero Hour, Meena stated, “The Supreme Court, in various cases, issued directions regarding the regulation of settlements on reserved land in inhabited areas. The state govt issues timely guidelines and conducts special drives to ensure compliance with these regulations.”
