
Construction machinery worth tens of thousands of pounds has been stolen.
Preston Police say the thefts, which took place outside of Preston, are ‘part of a longer ongoing investigation into stolen plant machinery’.
The digger and dumper, both of the JCB brand, combined cost around £30,000 to £40,000.

Police recovered the machinery from an address in the Preston area during Wednesday 16 April – but would not say where when asked by Blog Preston as they continue the investigation into what they say is ‘large-scale organised crime’.

No arrests have been made at this stage and police continue their enquiries.
