Seagate Homes has acquired the site to the west of Redgate Hill, at Hunstanton.

A view across the fields towards the site (Image: Chris Bishop) Lee Russell, Seagate’s director, said: “We have acquired the site for development, and are preparing plans for a residential development of circa 10 detached dwellings, that will be sympathetic and high in quality on this gateway to Hunstanton.
“Pre-application discussions will be under way soon once we have sufficient amount of supporting documentation to inform those discussions.”
A sign which has appeared beside the A149 saying the land has been sold (Image: Chris Bishop) The currently overgrown site off the main A149 – known as the Huggins Land – has not been earmarked for housing in local development plans.
It lies between the 160-home Butterfield Meadow estate, completed in 2017 and Lavender Chase, where the construction of 60 homes, 60 apartments with care and 39 care-ready bungalows is still under way off nearby Lynn Road.
