“A delegation from the Middle Eastern countries visited Amkodor JSC – Holding Managing Company,” the press centre informed. “The visit was aimed at studying co-operation opportunities and expanding business relations. During the visit the guests got acquainted with a wide range of machinery produced by the holding at the permanent exhibition. The delegation was particularly interested in road construction machinery. In the course of negotiations, the parties discussed promising areas of co-operation, paying special attention to the supply of machinery to the Middle East.”

In addition, the parties considered the possibility of organising service maintenance of Belarusian machinery, thus ensuring reliable operation of Belarusian machinery and its timely technical support.

“The members of the delegation expressed their interest in representing Amkodor Holding in the Saudi Arabian and UAE markets,” the company said.

The history of Amkodor Holding dates back to 1927. The first special equipment – the KM-800 earthmoving machine – was produced at the future parent company (the Udarnik plant) in 1951. In 1991, Amkodor JSC was established on the premises of the Udarnik plant by transforming the Minsk Research and Production Association of the Road Mechanical Engineering. Currently, the holding of the same name unites 30 enterprises, including 22 plants, which are located in Belarus, Russia and the CIS countries.
