World Indoor Bowls prize money 2025: How much is up for grabs in Championships at Potters Resorts?


THE World Indoor Bowls Championships is reaching a thrilling finale this week!

The biggest bowling event in the world has returned for the 27th year, and it is taking place at the stunning Potters Resorts in Hopton-on-Sea, Great Yarmouth.

Stewart Anderson won the open singles at the World Indoor Bowls Championships last year

Last year, Stewart Anderson crushed the competition – not only winning the third open singles title of his career but the open pairs alongside Darren Burnett.

In the women’s singles, Katherine Rednall continued her impressive dominance at the World Indoor Bowls Championship – collecting her SIXTH trophy in 10 years at Potters Resorts.

The Suffolk-born bowler was the youngest ever winner of a World Indoor Bowls title after she won the 2014 World Indoor Bowls Championship Women’s Singles at the age of just 18.

Scotland’s Julie Forrest and England’s Nicky Brett rejoiced as they won the mixed pairs in 2024.

This was the second time that Forrest had gained this title, with her first victory coming in 2021 with Stewart Anderson.

What is the prize money for the World Indoor Bowls Championship 2025?

The winner of the open singles at Potters will take home £50,000 in prize money.

While the pairs winners receive £20,000, which split between the two players.

The breakdown for the winners is as follows:

  • Open Singles: £50,000
  • Women’s Singles: £50,000
  • Open Pairs winners: £20,000
  • Mixed Pairs winners: £20,000

When is the World Indoor Bowls Championship 2025?

The big competition began on Friday, January 10 and will finish on Sunday, January 26.
