Stars from across the sports and entertainment landscape came together to compete in the 2025 NBA Celebrity All-Star Game on Friday night.
Team Bonds defeated Team Rice by the final score of 66-55, with actor Rome Flynn winning MVP honors.
Flynn finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists while shooting 10-16 from the field.
Los Angeles Sparks forward Rickea Jackson chipped in with 16 points for Team Bonds, while Olympic high jumper Shelby McEwen scored 14 points as a member of Team Rice.
Team Bonds, coached by 14-time MLB All-Star Barry Bonds, held a 31-25 lead at the half and maintained a 47-35 advantage through three quarters. Team Rice, led by Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice, wasn’t able to close the gap.
The contest featured several unique moments, including a skills challenge between McEwen and fellow Olympian Masai Russell. The two faced off in an obstacle course that consisted of two hurdles and one vertical jump to go along with a shooting contest.
McEwen, a silver medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, showcased his athleticism by throwing down several high-flying dunks during the game.
The Celebrity Game also featured the return of the Ruffles Crunch Time button, which coaches were allowed to press once each half. When activated, every shot made was worth double.
Comedian and actor Druski finished with just four points for Team Rice, but he made sure to celebrate after hitting a jumper from behind the arc late in the fourth quarter.
At the end of the day, Team Rice earned bragging rights while Flynn took home the MVP award.
