US Stock Market Live: Futures on Wall Street are on the edge after the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 snapped a historic nine-day winning streak, albeit after recovering from the lows of the day. The Dow futures, along with those on the S&P 500 are trading at the flat line, while the Nasdaq futures are down around 50 points. Benchmark indices ended lower in regular trade as tariff deal deadlines continue to persist and US President Trump opened a new trade war front by threatening a 100% levy on films not produced in the US. All eyes are now on the two-day FOMC meet that begins today, where Fed Chair Jerome Powell is set to defy Donald Trump again by keeping rates steady. Ford has joined the list of automakers suspending guidance due to the tariff uncertainties. Keep an eye on the Asian currencies, particularly the Taiwanese Dollar after the 10% appreciation in just two sessions. Gold prices are back near $3,400, while the greenback continues to falter.
