Dow futures drop 80 points; China factory activity at two-year low


US Stock Market Live: The US stock futures continue to remain in cautious mode after a slew of companies suspended or tweaked their full year guidance in light of President Donald Trump’s tariff-related uncertainties. Yet, it did not stop Wall Street from reporting another day of gains, continuing their recovery from their respective 52-week low levels. Watch this space for all the live updates.

US Stock Market Live: The US stock futures continue to remain in cautious mode after a slew of companies suspended or tweaked their full year guidance in light of President Donald Trump’s tariff-related uncertainties. Yet, it did not stop Wall Street from reporting another day of gains, continuing their recovery from their respective 52-week low levels. Currently, futures on the Dow Jones are down 80 points, while those on the S&P 500 are trading 30 points lower. Futures on the Nasdaq are trading with losses of close to 130 points. Japan’s factory activity dipped, while China’s industrial production fell to the lowest level in two years as tariffs come to bite. All eyes are also on the US, who reports its Q1 GDP data later this evening. Estimates fear a contraction as well. Big tech companies like Apple and Amazon are also set to report results today, along with the key Fed inflation gauge. Watch this space for all the Live updates.
