Native American-owned businesses face unique barriers to accessing credit and are more likely to report rising costs as a challenge, according to research from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
The analysis uses data from the Federal Reserve’s Small Business Credit Survey (SBCS). This shows that 70% of Native-owned employers reported challenges in paying operating expenses, while 40% had experienced challenges in securing credit.
Native American business owners also tend to have worse
