Press release from New Mill Cp
Eureka, CA – New Mill Capital, a North American asset disposition firm, has been engaged to sell the equipment assets and IP of Lost Coast Brewery, the successful and award-winning Eureka, CA-based brewery. The equipment will be offered through an online auction ending October 21st, while the brewery’s intellectual property is being sold through a private-treaty sale, with all offers due October 14th.
After starting as a local brewing experiment, Lost Coast Brewery grew into an award-winning legacy brand with fans worldwide. The company expanded into a 100-year-old building in downtown Eureka before ultimately moving into a custom-built brewery designed to support its continued growth just south of Downtown Eureka.
“Lost Coast Brewery has built a widely recognized brand and following, both nationally and internationally. Averaging over 50,000 barrels of distribution per year is not an easy task and speaks to the quality and value of the intellectual property,” said Eric Weiler, Principal of New Mill Capital. “The sale of the equipment will allow prospective buyers to further expand their own operations with quality equipment and zero lead time.”
