Minnesota DNR seeks new members for conservation advisory groups

MINNESOTA (Valley News Live) — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is recruiting new members to serve on advisory groups that help shape the agency’s natural resource decisions, according to the DNR.

The groups with open seats include the Catfish Fisheries Work Group, Esocid Fisheries Work Group, Panfish Fisheries Work Group, Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee, Lake of the Woods Fisheries Input Group, Natural Heritage Advisory Committee, Parks and Trails Legacy Advisory Committee, Recruit, Retain, Reactivate Advisory Council and the Statewide Aquatic Invasive Species Advisory Committee, according to the DNR.

The DNR said anyone passionate about the outdoors and interested in helping shape natural resource management decisions should consider applying. The application deadline is Oct. 15.
