Last year, the event drew over 1,000 fans for the first time – and even more showed up for this go-round.
WEST FARGO, N.D. – The biggest annual pro wrestling event in the Fargo area brought hard-hitting action Saturday night.
Below Zero Wrestling hosted their largest-ever iteration of their flagship show, WinterSlam at the Bulter Machinery Arena on the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in 2024, drawing a crowd of over a thousand people for the first time.
So, they figured – where better to host WinterSlam in 2025?
The card was stacked, with former WWE superstar Ken Anderson being a primary attraction.
Anderson was born and raised in Wisconsin – and event promoters say bringing in stars with a Midwest background makes it all the more enjoyable for the fans.
“He’s a Midwest guy, and this is the second time he’s worked for us, so it feels even more like ‘Hey, I’m back with the guys again,’” explained BZW co-owner Nick Stokke.
“So, it just gives it that extra special twist, and they’re going to take it up a notch.”
Below Zero now take their talents down to Dickinson for a show in March – but they say they have major plans for this summer in Fargo.
